(Sat & Sun): 2nd All Florida Koi and Pond Show
’99 In Splendid China theme park, Orlando. There will be a Koi show and competition,
vendors with quality Koi, plants, pond supplies, art, numerous seminars and practical
demonstrations. Our club is a sponsor, we will be helping with the show and we need
more volunteers. If interested in participating, please contact Dr. Bill Falls,
Carmella Yates or Bob Heagey (phone numbers are in the Officers section).
April 10
(Saturday): Visit Bob Heagey’s Bonzai Koi in St. Petersburg and
see his ponds and nursery. Time and directions will be announced next month.
May 16
(Sunday): Visit Jerome & Carmella Yates’ new pond in Brandon.
June 12
(Saturday): Visit Cathie Walker’s home in Tampa and see her Koi
ponds with beautiful imported Koi. She is the owner of Fish World.
July 17
(Saturday): [Tentative Date] Visit Slocum’s in Winter Haven to see
their beautiful lilies, gardens and pond supplies.
August 21
(Saturday): Visit Pondscapes in Tampa with owner Michael Jones to see
a beautiful new store, pond designs, fish, art and decorator items.
